My project, Ipseity, is a zine that encapsulates some of me and my closest friend's thoughts, appearances, and interests during this moment in our lives. As opposed to other magazines, it is here to solely express ourselves rather than to sell a product. Through hazy and abstract design, Ipseity encompasses who we are at this point in our lives.

From Arlington, Texas, I grew up with not much inspiration for artistic creation around me. Taking time away from school and experimenting with what I thought I wanted to do, I realized I should pursue graphic design. Since then I’ve grown as a creator and person, my taste and style has been refined, and I’m beginning to see myself as a real designer. I’m hoping that this and my future work leads into a career in magazine and web design.
